Elliott Sussman

The energy created when a determined team meets the idea of their dreams always makes Elliott smile. And the quest for that energy led Elliott to follow his dream – joining MoreVC in 2021.  Elliott spent his previous career leading and managing cyber security and other technology projects. Elliott believes that the values he witnessed leading to successes there  – values like initiative, leadership and relentless creativity – are some of the same values that can power startup teams to scale and beyond. Elliott led MoreVC’s investments in hyve and CarbonBlue and supports the cyber security companies in our portfolio including Claroty, Sunday Security and C2A.

Elliott’s first career was as a lawyer in New York City working on both public securities offerings and private M&A. Upon moving to Israel together with his wife and two daughters (two sons, two sons-in-law and two grandsons(!) have since been added) way back in 1999, Elliott transitioned to high-tech and became VP of Business Development at a digital-imaging startup called ImageID, with responsibility for strategic partnerships and fundraising.

In his spare time over the years, Elliott learned to fly a Robinson R-22B helicopter, served as a tank driver in the IDF, played drums at weddings and bar mitzvahs (and lately in a rock cover band), and bombed repeatedly at stand-up comedy.

Elliott holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, an MA in Government (counter-terrorism and cyber security) from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya), and a B.A. in English Literature from Yeshiva University.
